One of Nordic Investin’s partner companies is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer React and TypeScript, with Nordic Investin leading the recruitment process. You care about the milliseconds, edge cases and interaction details that separate a functional interface from a product people trust.

The partner is evolving a complex web product used for frequent, high value decisions. You will take ownership of frontend architecture, performance and accessibility while working closely with design, product and backend engineers.

The environment will suit someone who enjoys building systems, testing assumptions in code and taking responsibility for production behaviour. Technical choices are expected to be explained in terms of maintainability, reliability and the people who use the product.

You will work in short delivery cycles with direct access to product, domain and operational colleagues. The partner expects engineers to review designs, test assumptions early and follow important changes into production. Decisions should be recorded clearly enough that another engineer can understand the tradeoff months later.

As a senior colleague, you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early, communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. The role still includes hands on delivery; seniority here means broader judgement, not distance from the work.

• Develop responsive product experiences in React and TypeScript.

• Create scalable component and state management patterns.

• Improve Core Web Vitals, runtime performance and bundle health.

• Build accessible interactions that work with keyboard and assistive technology.

• Define frontend testing across unit, integration and end to end layers.

• Use analytics and user feedback to improve real workflows.

• Strong production experience with React and TypeScript.

• Excellent knowledge of browser behaviour, HTML and CSS.

• Experience with complex state, APIs and asynchronous user flows.

• Practical accessibility and frontend performance expertise.

• Confidence with automated testing and modern build tooling.

• Ability to collaborate closely with designers and product managers.

• Design systems used by several teams.

• Next.js or another server rendered React framework.

• Data visualisation or workflow heavy products.

You may come from SaaS, ecommerce, media, health technology or an internal product with demanding users. A polished portfolio is welcome, but we are equally interested in the technical reasoning behind your work and the compromises you made.

This role gives you influence over both the visible experience and the engineering system behind it. The partner values frontend work as product engineering, with room to improve architecture rather than only implement screens.

During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional technology if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
